Brand Identity

Baby Lemonade is a small online company that sells vintage clothing and accessories, with a focus on women's apparel.

The merchandise is high-quality, unique, and affordable, appealing mostly to women between the ages of 18 and 35.

Site Objectives

Because Baby Lemonade's sole source of revenue is based on online sales, it is crucial that the site allows the customer to navigate, browse, and buy with ease.

The look and feel of the site should coincide with the target audience's aesthetic preferences.

The Task

The Outcome

Using sites such as SSENSE, Urban Outfitters, and Endless as examples, I created a site with a clean and modern aesthetic that was easy to navigate. The breadcrumb technique was used to indicate the user's stage in the shopping or purchase process.

For the product images, I opted to take the photographs myself rather than use stock photography. Photographs from a friend's fashion blog were used for the spotlight images on the home page. This style of imagery gives the site a visual feel that appeals to the target audience.

These features encourage the user to spend time browsing and, in turn, buying.
